Kelly O'Connor: Worn By The Sun
Sala Diaz
Opens Friday, September 3, 7-11 pm
Through October 3. (210) 852-4492

The cryptic press release for Kelly O'Connor's upcoming exhibition, Worn by the Sun, at Sala Diaz promises new work that continues her explorations of American pop culture and that it will be "her most ambitious project yet." Combined with the press release image of little Carol Anne Freeling from the seminal film Poltergeist touching a television and announcing "they're here," and the press release's exhortation to "Just ask Alice," if you doubt the ambitiousness of the project, O'Connor's new show should prove to be a psychedelic experience indeed.
