The gallery will be open at its present location through December, although the new Canopy space will be open as well for the first event there on December 13, from 7 - 10pm.

The call, open to all US residents working in any 2D/3D media and video, and whose works have been completed within the past two years, closes on October 1.

Austin art space Pump Project has announced that over the next six months it will be be collaborating with Cloud Tree Studios & Gallery to host a series of long-term and pop-up exhibitions and performances.

The 2019 WEST event includes 354 stops — including shows in artists' studios, libraries, temporary spaces, and special happenings.

The call for entries is now open and the deadline to participate as an artist is February 15.

Of course, Austin's boom hasn't just affected artists.

Austin's Art in Public Places, the city's program responsible for commissioning and managing public art around Austin, currently has myriad open calls for temporary and permanent artworks.
