Valentina Jager​, Cindee Travis Klement​, ​Bria Lauren, Anna Mavromatis​, and ​Phillip Pyle II have been selected as finalists for the award.

The 30-minute noontime talks will begin in January of 2021 and will run weekly, with each conversation highlighting a different institution and artist.

Artists include Vincent Valdez, Guerrilla Girls, and Jenny Holzer, and Texas art spaces include Ballroom Marfa, the Blanton, DiverseWorks, the Fort Worth Modern, the Nasher, and The Contemporary Austin.

Notable visual artists on the roster have included Vincent Valdez and Dornith Doherty, and some of the most recognizable names in Texas music.

In addition to $10,000 in unrestricted funds, Corral and Valdez will have access to ongoing benefits of the Artadia Awards program.

Valdez and Keene closed out their insightful conversation with a moving impromptu performance.
