Atlanta-based native Houstonian Ian Gerson; Bee Caves, Texas artist Everest Pipkin; and Cincinnati's Kate Turner have all begun the year-long residency remotely, and will arrive in Galveston on November 1.

The initiative features street theatre, documentary film, animation, performance, visual art, and more.

The exhibition was scheduled to be on view at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston from March to May of 2022.

Katie Robinson Edwards, currently serving as the Museum's Curator, will act as Interim Director.

To date, Artist Relief has reported distribution of $13.5 million in funding to 2,700 individuals, amounting to an average rate of 100 unrestricted $5,000 grants per week.
