Diverse Discourse Lecture 02.27.13: Naomi Beckwith, Curator, MCA Chicago

Houston’s DiverseWorks has announced its “Spring 2016 Diverse Discourse Lecture and Studio Visit Series.” On April 6, Angela Mattox, Artistic Director of the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art will be in conversation with DiverseWorks curator Rachel Cook. On May 18, Sofía Hernández Chong Cuy, the Curator of Contemporary Art of the Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros will speak.

Both speakers will also offer studio visits during their Houston visit. According to DiverseWorks, “performance artists, dancers, and choreographers are especially encouraged to apply for this round.” Applications are due March 28 and can be found here.
