2nd Annual Touch the Art Experience

The venue and gallery, ART HQ will be transformed to interact with installations and touchable pieces from 40+ artists. A select group of artists has also been working with Almost Real Things and the art students from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired to build collaborative pieces to immerse attendees in an experience that evokes all of the senses.The goal of Touch the Art is to create a more accessible art experience that caters to all of the different ways people engage with art. We’re doing that by understanding how the deafblind community makes and sees art, and translating that into a show where everyone feels welcome to participate.
