Five-Minute Tours: Tiemann Art Gallery, Round Rock

by Glasstire March 18, 2021

Note: the following is part of Glasstire’s series of short videos, Five-Minute Tours, for which commercial galleries, museums, nonprofits and artist-run spaces across the state of Texas send us video walk-throughs of their current exhibitions. This will continue while the coronavirus situation hinders public access to exhibitions. Let’s get your show in front of an audience.

Opening Exhibit at Tiemann Art Gallery, Round Rock. Date: June 2020.

From the gallery;

“This is a short video we did at Tiemann Art Gallery when the gallery first opened in June, 2020.  With over 3500 square feet, the gallery sells almost exclusively original canvases, original works on paper, and fine-art multiples. This video was of the Opening Exhibit with about 120 artworks for sale from art owned by the gallery’s owner, Carrie Tiemann.  We just closed a contemporary print show that we did in conjunction with PrintAustin. We have a new exhibit at the gallery now. Some artwork in the current exhibit is from the owner’s collection. Other artwork in the exhibit is consigned by artists represented by the gallery. Currently, the gallery’s represented artists are: Sonia Borgialli, Samuel Shelton, Matthew Stavrowsky, Peggy Cook, Gloria Sanchez Hart, Chisos Montana, and Patty Thomas. We will be adding artists monthly. The gallery also does in-house custom framing, stretches canvas, and does minor frame repair. We’re looking forward to doing live-music events, demos, artist talks, lectures, openings, and other events as we get Covid behind us.”
