Brandon Zech and Christina Rees run down their favorite art and not-quite-art attractions you can spot from your car while driving across the state.
“Keep your eyes open and pay attention. You may see some interesting things on the side of the road. You will. It’s Texas.”

You two (and Christopher) are so cute, relaxed, fun, and smart. Thanks for doing “Top Five,” it is a weekly treat we really look forward to — and kind of “essential” right now.
Appreciate the Cadillac Ranch update especially!
I’ve been wondering WTF every time I drive by that giant caterpillar for pretty much as long as I’ve been in Texas. Now I know.
Thank you for the answer.
Someday y’all should put together a comprehensive update on rural art yards, like Dr. Smith’s in Caldwell, and the hanging junk people in Bartlett, and the mannequin parade outside Burnet, and the concrete fantasy zoo that (used to?) stand in Floresville… Those are treasures like no other, and being rural, rise and fall like wildflowers. Just a thought.
But this is great too. Like was said above, thanks for the latest news on Cad Ranch etc.
