Representatives from SAY Sí got a big surprise (and a big check) at the 2013 Membership Kickoff Party for Impact San Antonio last Thursday, when they were awarded a $100,000 grant they had applied for but didn’t win in 2012.

Impact San Antonio presents $100,000 grants to non-profits for specific projects, and one of last year’s award projects, by the Center for Family Relations, fell through. The Center returned the money, and Say Sí, as the runner up, got it instead.

SAY Sí, a tuition-free educational arts program will use the grant to provide art instruction and equipment for new middle school studios.
