“Houston Sinfonia is an installation of experimental music featuring six motion-activated music boxes, each of which plays a different part from the work along with a video accompaniment. The random but over-lapping playback of these parts imitates background noise as we experience it, coming to us from many directions at once.” The works in the show were created by Houston-based artists Ross Irwin & Harry Leverette.
