Presented in collaboration with the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center and Shrimp Boat Projects, Aurora Picture Show hosts a free outdoor screening of Veins in the Gulf. The documentary traces the history of the disappearing bayous in southern Louisiana. Interviews with fishermen, engineers, poets and scientists paint a picture of a community that is attempting to confront the mortality of its culture and survive a myriad of environmental crises.
