The UTSA Satellite Space fires up the summer with two different exhibitions on view throughout the month of August. Turbid Space features new ceramic sculptures from Ovidio Giberga, head of the Ceramic program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Jonathan McFadden’s recent body of work is also on view in his exhibition Refraction. Focusing on maps found in papers, on television, and the internet, McFadden’s work is concerned with the way the world is viewed as a result of satellite and Doppler imagery.
