DCG actually has three separate shows going on right now. First up is The Talented Ten-Part I…Houston Artists to Inspire One’s Soul. Curated by Lester Marks, the exhibit actually looks pretty good, and features ten of his personal favorites from the Houston area, including former Core Fellows Mequitta Ahuja (shown), Trenton Doyle Hancock, and Julie Mehretu. Carolyn Farb has selected a number of works by gallery artists for the creatively-titled A Celebration of our Gallery’s Artists. Finally there’s Knowledge Base. It’s a total mystery what this show is about, but it has something to do with, hell, we don’t know, but we’re sure it’s worth seeing while you’re there!
