UT, Austin has acquired a Sol Lewitt concrete-block arrangement to be placed at the entrance to its Dell Computer Science Hall. The sculpture “Circle with Towers” (2005) was purchased from the Madison Square Park Conservancy (in NY) for $700,000, which will use the money to endow other artworks in their park back east. The piece will be formally unveiled in September at the opening of the new facility.
