Dr. Andrew J. Walker will be the next director of the Amon Carter museum in Fort Worth. He will be on the job as director-designate on January 31, and will assume full directorship when current director Ron Tyler retires on April 1. Walker is currently assistant director for curatorial affairs and curator of American Art at the Saint Louis Art Museum, a position he has held for six years.
