Hey Baby, a vaginal/birth/baby art and music experience inspired by the imminent birth of Julia Claire Wallace & John Zambrano’s baby will greet the world on Sunday night, November 14 at ERS Gallery, aka El Rincon Social, 3210 Preston in Houston. Created as an ersatz baby shower, the "super casual" show will include 3 bands and a slew of artists visualizing the whole birthing thing through art, performance and video. According to the organizers, "disrespect/fear/hate/love/worship of babies/vagina/birth will be completely welcome. No worries about being offensive or cheesy or anything" and includes a truck bed filled with "blessed fluid" into which participants may be buried/submerged and reborn. 5-10pm.
