Teachers speak out tonight!

by Bill Davenport April 19, 2009

Teachers grapple with social inequity, gifted youth, cultural conflict, financial shortfalls, generous colleagues, crime, and acts of kindness every day, and teachers from Lee High School, including Chuck Fattore, Keisha Breaker, Lara Heiberg, Shilpa Sarang, Yolanda Rodriguez, Shenaz Keshwani, and Emily Sketch are going to talk about it. Voices Breaking Boundaries and KPFT radio are sponsoring East End Live Art: Teachers Speak Out at Sunday, April 19. 5pm at Café Flores, 6606 Lawndale, Houston. FREE! And as always, there will be an open mic.
