Houston artist Kathy Kelley will unveil "Suckling is Continuous", a new year-long public art project incorporating "found tire elements" (a.k.a. used inner tubes), at the Freed Art and Nature Park (a.k.a. the soggy area) near the corner of Houston Avenue and White Oak Drive on February 9, 2-3:30 p.m. Meet the artist, the art, and snacks. It’s part of the Green Valentine tree planting event, co-sponsored by the Heights Beautification Project and the City of Houston’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Buffalo Bayou Art Park
