In conjunction with its Media Archeology Festival, Aurora Picture Show is sponsoring a stop-motion animation workshop at mega-retailer IKEA, 7810 Katy Freeway in Houston, on Saturday, September 10. From 12-3, the youth can make their own films using IKEA soft toys and finger puppets, pages from the new 2012 IKEA catalog and their own drawings, all while eating IKEA’s Swedish meatballs, and it’s free! (an RSVP is requested).
