November 10 - February 2, 2014
1001 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77005
In the mid-1950s, motivated by social distress and poverty, Argentinian artist Berni abandoned painting for assemblage. Juanito Laguna and Ramona Montiel are two fictitious characters he constructed from trash, machine parts and other discarded objects.
