The Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA) presents its annual Selections exhibition and panel discussion at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. The exhibition will feature select works by artists from the following FWADA member galleries: Artspace 111; Atrium Gallery at UNT Health Science Center; Galerie Kornye West; Lakeview Gallery: Tarrant County College Northwest Campus; McAnthony’s Multicultural Center; Rebecca Low Sculptural Metal Gallery & Studio; SiNiCa Studios; the Upstairs Gallery; Weiler House Fine Art Gallery; and William Campbell Contemporary Art.
A panel discussion titled Art Versus Commodity: What is the Value IN Art? of noted local art professionals will consist of William Campbell, owner of William Campbell Contemporary Art; Christine Guernsey, ISA CAPP fine art appraiser; Frank Hettig from Heritage Auction Galleries; Star-Telegram art critic Gaile Robinson; and Andrew Walker, director of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Dr. Mark Thistlethwaite, Kay & Velma Kimbell Chair of Art History at TCU, will serve as moderator.
