This is going to be a good one! Brent Green takes over Diverse Works with his site-specific exhibition Gravity Was Everywhere Back Then. This DIY artist is known for his amazing story telling and combines hand drawn stop-motion animations with voice over narrations and music compositions for his films. Green’s latest film and exhibition is a true story about a quest to build a strange and wonderful house that could function as a healing machine to save Mary’s life after being diagnosed with cancer. Watch out for the 6 page story in the January issue of Art in America and check out the video of Green talking about the inspiration for his project. Don’t miss short films by Sam Green in the flickerlounge, co-presented by Aurora Picture Show, plus Grandalism featuring PILOT(FX) and curated by GONZO247.
