August 5 - 8, 2010
161 Glass Street, Dallas, TX 75207
Dallas Contemporary unleashes SEEDLINGS, an exhibition curated by New York- based Regine Basha. The artists selected by Basha address the environment and society’s relationship to nature, industry, and productivity. With film, site-specific installation, sculpture, painting and drawing, SEEDLINGS presents work "that relates to land use, inter-connectivity, the scientific endeavor of how the natural world intersects with cultural phenomena". Participating artists from New York and Texas include Hilary Berseth, David Brooks, Jedediah Ceasar, Jessica Halonen, Hilary Harnischfeger, Christopher Ho, Virginia Poundstone, Gilad Ratman, and Lucy Raven. Kudos to Brooks, Ratman, and Raven who will appear in the Greater New York exhibition at MoMA PS1 opening this summer!
