Long time local art supporter and newly minted gallerist Darryl Mix is opening his new Art SA Gallery in the Monte Vista neighborhood of San Antonio. The inaugural opening is on Saturday March 6, presenting Transformations, featuring the recycled works of upholstery interventionist Jane Bishop and electroplated assemblages by Daniel Saldana. The gallery plans to highlight local San Antonio artists and will rotate shows every four months. 108 E Mistletoe, SanAntonio. 6-10pm.
