Entries are being accepted for the Border Art Biennial 2010 / Bienal Fronteriza de Arte 2010 from now until January 31, 2010. The juried exhibition, sponsored by the El Paso Museum of Art and the Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juarez and juried by Rita Gonzalez, Assistant Curator in the Department of Contemporary Art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Itala Schmelz, Director at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, hopes to tackle the vital art and artists of US and Mexican border states (that’s Texas, among others) by showing a pair of works from each selected artist, one at each museum. It’s a monster task: the exhibition will take place November 14, 2010 – February 13, 2011.
