The Houston Arts Alliance has added Carole Anne Meehan and Matthew Lennon to its Civic Art+Design team. Meehan was Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; she joined the ICA in 1988 as director of their Vita Brevis program, which commissioned temporary works in response to Boston’s landscape and history. Lennon, a visual artist, writer and curator, was co-director of HorseHead International Projects since 1987and on the Seattle Arts Commission from 1997- 1999. He comes to Houston after serving as Public Art Curator for the city of Newcastle upon Tyne.
