Though the Fotofest Meeting Place events remain shrouded in mystery, TONIGHT the public is invited in to see the work of artists that participate in reviews amid a fun- and-vodka-filled atmosphere at Fotofest’s Evening with the Artists, a brand new program that connects the public with the hundreds of artists, curators, and other art professionals visiting Houston. It is a chance for people to meet artists and reviewers, look at work and possibly purchase art directly from artists. Its tonight, from 7-9 pm at the downtown Doubletree Hotel, Houston. FREE
