This weekend MFAH is screening Killer of Sheep, the most important and respected film you've never heard of unless you're a hard core film buff (according to Wikipedia, it was never released due to rights problems with the soundtrack). Houston-bred star Henry G. Sanders will be on hand 6/15 and 6/16 to give an intro and Q&A for this 1977 classic set in Watts and directed by Charles Burnett.
