Philippe de Montebello, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and one-time director of MFAH, will return to his old pastures on Monday, May 14 to give a lecture titled Collecting the Past and Illuminating the Future. The title's a bit stodgy and vague, but the speaker should be well worth listening to. 6:30 pm in the Brown Auditorium — not to be missed!!
