Calling Gen Xers

by Rainey Knudson April 28, 2007

The feel-good 70s touchstone Free to Be…You and Me will be the subject of a program at Aurora Picture Show May 4 and 5. Media organization Ocularis has invited film and video artists to rework, satirize, or create short works inspired by the original's segments, including "It's All Right to Cry," "William Wants a Doll," "Ladies First," and "Parents Are People." Remember everyone: a sissy is somebody who doesn't cry, because he's afraid people will call him a sissy if he does
cry.
