In what is beginning to seem like an annual event, Elizabeth Dee Gallery in NYC is hosting a San Antonio artist again this summer. You may remember last summer’s exhibition of Chuck Ramirez and Meg Langhorne — this summer it’s Chris Sauter. The Sublime Is (Still) Now, curated by Joe Woolin, explores the manner in which several contemporary artists “grapple with the subject of the exalted, the absolute, and the ineffable, in an attempt to express the sublime.”
