Leonard and Susan Bay Nimoy have created a foundation to support individual visual artsists, and Houston organizations with residency programs are benefitting! The Museum of Fine Arts will receive $25,000 (presumably for the Core program), and Project Row Houses will receive $10,000 from Mr. and Mrs. Spock, out of a total of $425,000 in awards. Way to go, Nimoys! Why wasn’t San Antonio’s ArtPace selected, you ask? Well, ArtPace director Kathryn Kanjo was on the selection committee.
