“Laura opens with a group show called Night Skyline Stars. The exhibition is a meditation on the nocturne and reads like a mixtape, where each artwork hits a different note, striking a specific mood. Eine kleine nachtmusik, if you will. Artists include Afra Al Dhaheri, Francesca Fuchs, Ian Gerson, Yifan Jiang, Myeongsoo Kim, Joseph Liatela, Hasani Sahlehe and Chang Sujung.
I’ve oft dreamed of running my own space, yet it always seemed out of reach in NYC. Since moving to Houston a year ago for Owen’s new museum position, I’ve found myself eyeing storefronts that could work as art galleries, and well, here we are!
My gallery takes over the space of the beloved Bill’s Junk in The Heights and I am honored to contribute to the vibrant Houston art scene with my new venture.
