10th Annual Texas Juried Exhibition

“Artspace111 is pleased to announce that 43 Texas artists have been selected for 10th Annual Artspace111 Texas Juried Exhibition by this year’s jurors Vicki Meek, Independent Curator and Writer, Clare Milliken, Assistant Curator at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Luis Purón, Executive Director, Rockport Center For The Arts. A total of 55 pieces from artists all over the state of Texas will be displayed at Artspace111 from June 24 through August 26, 2023.

ARTISTS SELECTED: Cande Aguilar, Kaima Akarue, Dárē Akinwole, Ari B, Gregory Baker, Robbie Barber, Jill Bedgood, Judge Bermes, Saba Besier, Justin Burns, Vernon Caldera, Shawn Camp, Angela Corson, Ron Crouch, Rapheal Crump, Michelle Cuevas, Inyang Essien, Erica Felicella, Nancy Ferro, K Ford, Barbara Hack, Anton Hoeger, Val Hunnicutt, Cedric Ingram, Nitashia Johnson, Felicia Jordan, Jimi Kabela , Hunter Lacey, Patsy Lindamood, Goran Maric, Jennifer Martin, Catherine Martinez, Clarissa Martinez, Tina Medina, Kelly Morris, McKay Otto, Jordyn Rector, Elena Rodz, Elijah Ruhala, Angeles Salinas, Jamie Speck, Hallie Ward, Doerte Weber

The competition was open to 2D and 3D artwork. Artwork selected by the jurors will be included in the Texas Juried Exhibition at Artspace111 and are eligible for significant cash awards. A total of $15,000 will be awarded to the best works in the show, with the top prize being $10,000. In addition to this prestigious accolade, the top prize winner will have the opportunity to exhibit at Artspace111 in a separate solo or group exhibition during the 2023-2024 season.

The exhibition will be open from June 24 through August 26, with a special opening reception on Saturday, June 24, 2023 where the prize winners will be announced. RSVP is required through Eventbrite.”
