About the artist: In Austin in 1980, Floyd co-founded and was the lead singer of the punk band The Dicks. As an openly gay punk musician in the 80’s, Floyd is considered a queer icon and music pioneer. He has gone on to front bands such as Sister Double Happiness, Gary Floyd Band, Black Kali Ma and The Buddha Brothers.”
