November 6 - December 3, 2021
From the organizers:
“Comfort Zone is a psychological state in which things feel familiar to a person and they are at ease and in control of their environment, experiencing low levels of anxiety and stress. In this zone, a steady level of performance is possible.
Poo Poo Pee Pee Gallery, located in Johnson Square (Behind Cafe Brazil) proudly presents it’s inaugural exhibition Comfort Zone showcasing DFW based talent.
The third in a series of alternative art spaces curated by Mylan Nguyen, Taro Waggoner, & Brent Ozaeta (Super Fantasy Mercado, The Saferoom Gallery) Poo Poo Pee Pee highlights the opportunistic use of available spaces and the artists ability to transform them.
The exhibition features small & medium sized works with a focus on illustration. Each artist exhibits a distinct stylization in their work, an attention to line work, and imagery that offers moments of playfulness or quiet contemplation.
Due to the size of the space masks will be required for viewing this exhibition.”
