The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to welcome Mark Kever, who will present a lecture titled The Hunt: Unconventional Methods of Putting Together a Texas Art Collection on Thursday, January 16th at 5:30 pm in the SAMFA Meeting Room. There is no charge and the public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
Kever is a Managing Director at UBS Wealth Management in Plano, Texas. He has been recognized nationally numerous times in Barron’s Top Financial Advisor Rankings, most recently in 2016-2018, and in the Financial Times in 2015. He is an honors graduate from Texas A&M University with an M.B.A. from The University of North Texas.
Mark is an avid and passionate art collector with a focus on Texas artists, predominately during the years of 1930-1960. He has been past president of C.A.S.E.T.A. (Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art) and past board chair of T.A.C.O. (Texas Art Collectors Organization).
The lecture is hosted by the SAMFA Collector’s Society, a group within the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts’ membership, which presents a series of discussions and talks on a broad range of issues each year. All are encouraged to attend. For more information please call the museum at 325.653.3333.
