“John Mitchell was a born trader. He was born in the Ozarks of Arkansas and first opened an antique shop in the 1970’s. John spent a lifetime traveling the Ozarks collecting adventures and treasures. His antique hunts led him to make annual trips to Mexico where he collected everything from folk art to garlic. John is an independent scholar of regional artwork and known for his impeccable eye for artwork, antiques, folk art, the unusual. His shop, MITCHELL’S FOLLY was famous to many fellow treasure hunters who traveled through Eureka Springs.”
