“University of Houston Libraries is pleased to host a viewing of the documentary, Jesse Lott: Art and Activism, on Thursday, September 13, at the Bert F. Winston Band Complex, E137 Rehearsal Room. Lott is an African American Houston-based artist who is known for his visionary wire sculpture, paper figures, and works on paper made using found materials. The documentary was directed by filmmaker Cressandra Thibodeaux, executive director of 14 Pews Art House in Houston.”
