Blaffer Art Museum is pleased to present Taïgue Ahmed: Spit My Story. The residency, curated by Solkem N’Gangbet, includes school outreach events and master classes with University of Houston students and faculty as well as with local dance companies. Trained in traditional dance from the age of 13 by a choreographer from the Chad National Ballet, Taïgue Ahmed joined the Youth Trestle Company started by the Chadian choreographer Hyacinthe Abdoulaye Tobio in 2002.
