Don’t Forget Your Roots, a mosaic mural at 6635 Harrisburg Boulevard, created by students from Houston’s Eastwood Academy charter high school with help from the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, is having its opening celebration on Thursday, November 12 at 4pm. Houston City Council Member Sue Lovell will officially dedicate the mural, celebrating the rich artistic traditions of the East End and the rebirth of Harrisburg Boulevard.
