Testino | Uklanski | Burd

Dallas Contemporary

September 21 - December 21, 2014

Three solo shows under one roof: International fashion photographer Testino turns his lens on mountainous people of Peru and their traditional and festive costumes. Uklanski is a Polish, New-York based Gagosian artist who makes "blood" and "ink drop paintings" for this show. Burd is a local favorite who here reimagines floor-tile patterns; instead of rigid and mass-produced, hers are teeming with patterned images of wilderness.
