October 12 - July 30, 2014
The special exhibition Albrecht Dürer: Five Woodcuts and Five Etchings will only be on view during Chinati Weekend. The idea for the exhibition comes from Donald Judd’s interest in Dürer and the wish to see the images of two different artists, who lived five centuries apart, while considering the motivation for one’s interest in the other. This special exhibition is curated by Marianne Stockebrand, Chinati’s Director Emerita.
A free concert by the English band, The xx. The show will take place in the Arena, on the museum grounds.
