We are excited to offer full day camps as part of our Learning Center programming, that allow students to learn the fundamentals of photography, camera operations and photo editing software in a fun, non-competitive environment. These classes are specifically designed for children ages 9-15, and our instructors encourage them to use their imagination to fine-tune their creative vision.

Fun with Photoshop - March 11 - 10am-3pm
Ages: 9-12
This hands-on digital photography course introduces students to the basics of post-production techniques using Adobe Photoshop.

From Color to Black & White - March 13 - 10am-3pm
Ages: 9-12
Students learn to transform their color images into black and white masterpieces.

Photography and the Environment - March 14 - 10am-3pm
Ages: 12-15
What is the environment? How do you interact with it and how do you document it? How does your photography smell, feel and taste? During this camp students explore the grounds surrounding HCP with their sense and embark on an environmental-documentary photography adventure.

Creating Dreamlike Photographs - March 15 - 10am-3pm
Ages: 12-15
Inspired by Surrealist photographers, students create their own dream-like photographs while learning basics of composition in photography.
