April 11 - January 17, 2025
From the organizers:
“The City of San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture—in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability—presents an exhibition dedicated to climate, the environment, and community response. Resilient and Responsive: Artists and the Environment explores our understanding of science, nature, and impact on the natural world. This exhibition will be on display April 11, 2024 through January 17, 2025.
Make plans to join us for the exhibition Opening Reception on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Facts and figures around climate change may miss the mark when connecting with San Antonio residents. With insights from artists in our community, the issue of sustainability comes to life. This exhibition prompts conversations around our environment and provokes calls to action in support of San Antonio’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.
Participating Artists:
Margaret Craig, Manuel Davila, Celeste De Luna, Aminah Decé, Kwanzaa Edwards, Jose Esquivel, Audrya Flores, Jacob Garza, Lindsey Hurd, Marcos Medellin, Ashley Mireles, Linda Monsivais Hernandez, Doerte Weber and Andrea Willems.”
