“Madison Branch, based in Tyler, Texas, is an adjunct art instructor for Tyler Junior College, the University of Texas at Tyler, and Trinity Valley Community College. This exhibition features her mixed media work, using colorful, abstract collages to explore the ways in which an individual constructs their sense of self. Each scrap of paper becomes part of a unified whole, serving as reminder that a person’s identity is not a discrete object, but a mosaic of experiences.”
