Artpace San Antonio has announced the recipients of it’s 2008 travel grants for San Antonio artists: Ricky Armendariz plans to go to Mexico City, Mexico, Teotihuacán, and the mountains of Popocateptl and Iztaccihuatl; Jessica Halonen will travel to Cambridge, MA to study the Blashka Glass Flower Collection at Harvard’s Museum of Natural History; Julia Barbosa Landois will attend Interregnum: In Between States, the Performance Studies International annual conference at Copehhagen University, Denmark; and Justin Boyd will follow Route 66 from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA.
