From Jonathan Hopson:
“Enjoy a special curatorial event at JHG featuring new artworks from artists Lauren Moya Ford and Guadalupe Hernandez. Enjoy a cool beverage and take home a water conscious plant from our Texas Green Sharing initiative.
So many of our friends, clients, and artists have complimented the gallery’s incredible cactus garden over the years. What was once a typical grass lawn has blossomed into a menagerie of water conscious plants that provide a rich ecosystem for our native Texan insects and animals. Every summer we trim our cactus and succulents and we love to share those cuttings with our community.
All potted plants and cuttings at OASIS are for sale. Some plants have been reserved for our artists in recognition for all the incredible work they do for us and our community. In appreciation for our clients, anyone who purchases a work from the exhibit can choose any plant to take home with them at no cost. If you are affiliated with a local public park, school, or non profit that has a cactus garden please let us know as we would love to donate to your organization at this event.
