FotoFest invites you to join artists leo and Shobun Baile for an online talk in our Creative Conversations series, moderated by FotoFest Associate Curator, Max Fields.
The first in a series of online programs presented by FotoFest, the Creative Conversations/digital bring together artists, creatives, and online audiences for an in-depth conversation on social, cultural, and aesthetic issues in relationship to creative praxis. Each program will be composed of a moderated conversation and a live Q&A with the online audience.
This week’s program features artists leo and Shobun Baile, two artists currently living and working in Houston, TX, who recently collaborated to produce the site-specific installation, “If I don’t look you in the eye” (2020), for the FotoFest Biennial 2020 central exhibition, “African Cosmologies: Photography, Time, and the Other,” curated by Mark Sealy.
This event will be broadcast live on Zoom and YouTube live.
To watch live on YouTube, visit the FotoFest YouTube page at the event’s start time or find the link in this Facebook event page at the event start time.
Questions for the Q&A will be collected live via Zoom’s audio stream and YouTube Live’s comment function.
