March 4 - April 7, 2017
A show of photographs and sculptures by artist Peter Hiatt. The artist on his work: “The photographs that I make show a world that is as close as our backyard, but we shut it out, because it displeases us. Nature is often romanticized in popular culture as something remote and beautiful, that takes a long car ride to get to. We must remember that we live apart from nature because we choose to. It frightened us, so we covered it in concrete. I want us to confront what we have chosen to destroy.”
